Many payment services such as PayPal and 2CheckOut and credit card gateways such
as Authorize.Net and LinkPoint will let you "brand" your payment page with your own logo,
which gives your checkout process a more professional appearance.
However, since these payment pages run on SSL secure servers,
your logo file also needs to be on a secure server.
Otherwise, browsers will display a security warning window saying
"this page contains both secure and nonsecure items" (because the logo file
is "nonsecure" if it's not on an SSL server).
The pop-up will ask the user whether or not to display the nonsecure items.
In addition to interrupting the checkout process, this warning message
can lead some users to believe that the payment page is not really secure.
To avoid this warning message and to give your customers confidence that their
transactions are completely secure, you can host your logos or other image files
on the SecureLogo.com secure server and then use an "https://secure.SecureLogo.com" URL
for your payment page logo.
